Week number 2 is over and done… and I’m still doing good.
Still trying to get over the never ending pile of dishes I seem to have. But since I’m finally starting to use my previous made food which I’ve been stockpiling in the freezer, hopefully that will reduce a bit. Speaking of my freezer, I did finally get around to organizing it! I got a two baskets to put in the freezer and a whiteboard to keep try of what I’ve got stashed away in there. Here are the kitchen “projects” I did this past week:
And now onto the food…
I only ate out twice this week. Once at the office cafe since we were suppose to go out for lunch with a co-worker who was visiting our office, but that got canceled and I just ate at the cafe. But tried to make healthy choices and got the Seafood stew with steamed veggies. The other time was a Chipotle bowl (no rice) after a full day with my halloween group.
Didn’t do quite as much cooking this week. My plan was to start using the Sous Vide this week, but that only happened one Friday evening. But I’m gonna try and use it more this coming week as I really do need to start going thru some of the food in my freezer.
One thing I’ve noticed is that when I start eating clean… I want to snack… a lot. When I’m eating crap, I hardly ever snack. At least I’m trying to snack clean with my homemade kale chips, prosciutto chips, and chili lime cashews. I’ve also been eating a bit of cherry tomatoes. And almond butter. I know I need to cut back on the nuts if I want to use weight. However… it just so darn tasty. Another thing I started snacking on is olives. I hit up the olive bar at my grocery store and picked up a few variations. I’ve never been a real bit olive person in the past, but I think they are growing on me.

With regards to the gym, as you can see from some of my recent posts… I did finally make it back. However, I only made it 2 days. But thats better than none. It did feel good, but it was also a little painful. Two days of snatches pretty much killed my hands and grip. My goal is workout at least 3 times a week.
